The City of Edwardsville is seeking a full-time Wastewater Foreman. The job duties include, but are not limited to, managing the wastewater collection system and performing skilled technical maintenance and repair of wastewater lift stations. Must be able to respond to call outs and after hour emergencies.
The job also includes performing a variety of skilled tasks in the re-construction, maintenance and repair of public facilities including streets, parks, storm water, and snow removal; and to provide responsive, courteous, and efficient service to City residents and the general public. Starting salary range is $34,560 - $36,664 DOQ.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; must possess a current, valid driver’s license at the time of application; prefer possession of or ability to obtain within six (6) months a Kansas Class B CDL driver’s license; two (2) to four (4) years wastewater maintenance experience and/or five (5) years general maintenance experience; and must be able to obtain a Class I Wastewater Collection System Certification within 18 months.
