Municipal Court is held in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 690 S. 4th Street on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Prosecutor availability:
On the 1st Thursday court docket, the prosecutor will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. if you would like to come earlier than 7:00 p.m. Attorney's are given first priority after which she will see people on a first come first serve basis. Check in with the clerk when you arrive in the courtroom.
On the 3rd Thursday court docket, the prosecutor will be available beginning at 3:00 p.m. for those wishing to come in the afternoon rather than the evening. The 3:00 p.m. docket is held at the Police Department located at 650 S. 4th Street (behind City Hall) until appoximately 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m. we will move and continue the docket at City Hall.
*Please note, if your case requires you to appear before the judge on either docket, you will have to appear at the later time of 7:00 p.m.
Directions to the Court:
On 435 N or 435 S, take the Kansas City/Bonner Springs Exit to K-32. Travel West on K-32 until you reach the 4th Street traffic light. Turn South onto 4th St.
From K-7 N or K-7 S, take the Bonner Springs Exit and travel East on K-32 to the 4th Street traffic light. Turn South onto 4th St.
Continue South on 4th Street until you see the signs on your right hand side for City Hall and the Municipal Court, approximately 1/4 mile.
