Trash Service
The City of Edwardsville, through Deffenbaugh, provides trash pickup for residential users.
Acceptable Wastes:
Contractor reserves the right to determine, change or restrict the size, type, weight, volume, quantity or quality of residential solid waste acceptable for collection. Refuse may be setout in bags or rigid containers. Bags or containers setout for collection must not exceed 35 gallons in capacity. Any bag, container or bundle of materials setout for collection may not exceed 65 pounds. Tree trimmings setout for collection must be bundled not exceeding 4' in length and 18" in diameter. Tree limbs individually may not exceed 4" in diameter. All materials setout for collection must be properly contained; loose waste or trimmings, ect. are not acceptable.
Scheduled days of pickup are:
South of K-32 Highway - Tuesday
North of K-32 Highway - Friday
Starting September 14th all trash shall will be picked on Monday's for everyone in the City.
If you have large items you need to contact Deffenbaugh at 913-631-3300 for special pickup. This service is not part of the service provided by the City of Edwardsville.
