League Information
The Edwardsville Park and Recreation offers various youth soccer and baseball programs. Our soccer programs are offered in both the spring and fall. The youth baseball program is available only during the summer.
One of the soccer programs available is our coed recreational program. This program is available to children ages 4-14. Games are played at the Edwardsville City Park on Saturdays and Sundays. For the Spring league, games begin the last weekend in March and end around the 2nd weekend of May (depending on weather). The Fall league games begin around the 3rd Saturday of September and end around the 1st weekend of November. With your registration fee, your child will receive a team shirt and trophy. Fees range from $30-$45 and are based on the age of the child.
Our next program is the 3v3 soccer program. This program allows the player more opportunity of playing and ball time with only 3 players on the field at a time. The divisions are separated between boys and girls. Girls will play their games on Monday and Tuesday, while boys will play their games on Wednesday and Thursday. This program is available to children 7-14 during the Spring and Fall seasons. With your registration fee the child will receive a team shirt and trophy.
Our Summer ball program is divided into three different groups consisting of t-ball, softball and baseball. T-ball is available to children that are 5 & 6 years of age. Softball is for girls ages 7-15 and baseball is for boys ages 7-14. Games begin around the end of May and end around the 2nd week of July. T-ball games are played at the Edwardsville City Park and Lyons Park, while the softball and baseball games have the opportunity to be played at Edwardsville, Bonner, Lansing, Tonganoxie and Linwood.
The Edwardsville Park and Recreation also hosts an adult softball church league.
