[ARCHIVED] Curbside Bulky Item Pick Up Set for 11/5/22

The City's solid waste collection partner KC Disposal will conduct its next curbside bulky item pickup event on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Addresses who pay the City for trash/recycling collection will be allowed to place 2-3 items on the curb for pickup on Saturday, November 5. Please have all items at the curb the evening before to ensure pickup. Allowable items include:

  • Sectional couches
  • Sleepers/recliners/couches/furniture
  • Office chairs
  • Dining room tables
  • Metal frame beds/headboards/rails/mattresses
  • Flat-screen TV's and computer monitors
  • Bookshelves/desks/entertainment centers/filing cabinets
  • Lengths of carpet (up to 4 ft., rolled)
  • Pet houses, fish tanks
  • Grills
  • Lawnmowers (drained of all fluids)
  • Exercise equipment (no bars or weights)
  • Toilets
  • Doors
  • Sewing machines
  • Vanities
  • Swing sets/playground equipment (if disassembled)
  • Hot tubs (if disassembled)
  • Baby beds (if disassembled)

Items that will not be picked up includes:

  • Construction materials (drywall, wood, bricks, concrete)
  • Large appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, dryers, etc.)
  • Fencing
  • Car parts and tires
  • Water heaters
  • Propane tanks
  • Yard waste
  • Wet paint

If you have an item you are unsure about, please call Edwardsville City Hall for clarification at 913-356-6000. This service does not include the mobile home park or apartment complexes, as they are not part of the City's trash/recycling collection program.
